Mireth Technology adds WMV support to iVCD - version 3.1 released
Vancouver, Canada -- Mireth Technology Corp. has released a new version of iVCD, its Mac OS X video burning software. Version 3.1 of iVCD, addresses the following:
1. Add support to convert and burn WMV to DVD, SVCD or VCD (requires Flip4Mac component purchased seperately)
2. Add support for .divx files
3. Add support for burning KVCD
iVCD is an easy to use, full featured DVD, VCD and SVCD authoring software for Mac that can burn DVD, VCD, SVCD and more from most video formats such as iMovie and Quicktime movie files, as well as from AVI, Divx, WMV and Xvid. iVCD was designed specifically to be both full featured and easy to use, so that users can enjoy a full range of digital video authoring features all in one software product. Originally designed to burn VCDs, iVCD has evolved to include burning SVCDs and now DVDs.
Besides its ease of use, iVCD also offers many unique features, such as maintaining a project folder so that a project can be made in stages and so that additional copies of a project can be made without having to start again from the input files. iVCD also offers Video Rescue features such as the lighten video slider to correct video that's too dark, and the TV Safe Border effect to correct video that appears clipped on a TV screen. In addition, iVCD allows the user to make specialty video such as looping VCD, SVCD and DVD for use in Kiosks and retail outlets, hybrid movie/music VCDs, and VCDs that will Autorun on Windows.
