Thanks so much for this detailed and insightful email. You were absolutely right. Even though I have Administrator rights on the Windows 2012R2 server where the File System is located (as one of the logical partitions – F: drive), I had to start ShredIt with “Run as an Administrator”. When I did that, folders are being shredded no problem. I truly appreciate the quick response.

While QuickTime player is free, it uses twice the RAM of MacVCD, opens sluggishly on G3 machines (we’re talking OS 9 here) and doesn’t do half the VCD stuff MacVCD does.
