What an excellent piece of software, to date faultless and c.d.’s play on all dvd players tested either in vcd and some svcd, not bad for here in the UK – better success rate than dvd’s. … iVCD fills the gap for Macs without combo drive and playback quality hardly noticeable from dvd on wide screen. Not had any burn failures to date and can now store all movies on hard drive knowing that they can be written to disk in an acceptable quality without using up space as you do storing an imovie project.

I just wanted you to know that I purchased this software a month ago and I am very happy with it. After having been through several different types of software to deal with the issue, I find Shredit X to be very efficient, fast, thorough and easy to use. The best I’ve seen yet. I spent the better part of the day downloading trial versions of various players from ZDnet in attempt to play a disk full of (apparently PC) VCD’s that I bought on eBay, and none would do the job until I found and tested yours; needless to say, I found myself pulling out the Visa card five minutes later. Even though I have Administrator rights on the Windows 2012R2 server where the File System is located (as one of the logical partitions – F: drive), I had to start ShredIt with “Run as an Administrator”. For what ever reason unbeknownst me no one has had the forethought that a Mac user might have to convert a mp3 file to wma. This should be a very simple process. If your hard drive is full, or if you wish to sell it, you need to erase all the information on it. After all, you don’t want everyone to gain access to all your files. As you may know, when you delete a file, you are not deleting it for good. There are computer applications that can recover files even after you have deleted them and emptied the Trash bin. That is why, if you want to get rid of a file, you have to “shred” it.
