How to convert mpeg on Mac

How to Convert MPEG on Mac

iVCD can be used as an MPEG encoder to convert between MPEG formats.  It can encode as

  • MPEG-1 (VCD profile, or generic profile),
  • MPEG-2 (SVCD profile, DVD profile or generic profile).

Requirements

  • iVCD
  • source movie(s) in MPEG format
  • to convert from MPEG-2, download and install the required component (see Requirements)

Instructions

  1. If you haven’t already done so, download and install the required component, if required
  2. Create a new project folder or open an existing one.
Storing your movie and it’s settings in a project folder makes it easy to save your information so you can pick up where you left off, instead of having to finish your project in one sitting, which is often difficult to do at first. It also makes it easy to create more copies of a DVD once you have perfected your project.
