“Low on disk space” message

I’m donating an old PC, so I used Shredit for Windows to cleanup  the free space. Now I get a message that it is”Low on disk space” and if I look at the drive’s properties it shows almost 100% used. How can this space be made free and available again?

Open the disk and look for a folder named ShredIt Freespace.  Recycle that folder.
