I just wanted you to know that I purchased this software a month ago and I am very happy with it. After having been through several different types of software to deal with the issue, I find Shredit X to be very efficient, fast, thorough and easy to use. The best I’ve seen yet. As you may know, when you delete a file, you are not deleting it for good. There are computer applications that can recover files even after you have deleted them and emptied the Trash bin. That is why, if you want to get rid of a file, you have to “shred” it. Even though I have Administrator rights on the Windows 2012R2 server where the File System is located (as one of the logical partitions – F: drive), I had to start ShredIt with “Run as an Administrator”. [MacVCD] Just a quick note to acknowledge your wonderful VCD player. I spent the better part of the day downloading trial versions of various players from ZDnet in attempt to play a disk full of (apparently PC) VCD’s that I bought on eBay, and none would do the job until I found and tested yours; needless to say, I found myself pulling out the Visa card five minutes later. Always nice to find a program that actually does what it’s designed to do; looking forward to trying out some of your other programs listed on your site. Also, a pleasant surprise to find that you’re actually Canadian-based.
