Even though I have Administrator rights on the Windows 2012R2 server where the File System is located (as one of the logical partitions – F: drive), I had to start ShredIt with “Run as an Administrator”. As you may know, when you delete a file, you are not deleting it for good. There are computer applications that can recover files even after you have deleted them and emptied the Trash bin.
