What an excellent piece of software, to date faultless and c.d.’s play on all dvd players tested either in vcd and some svcd, not bad for here in the UK – better success rate than dvd’s. … iVCD fills the gap for Macs without combo drive and playback quality hardly noticeable from dvd on wide screen. Not had any burn failures to date and can now store all movies on hard drive knowing that they can be written to disk in an acceptable quality without using up space as you do storing an imovie project.

Always nice to find a program that actually does what it’s designed to do

[MacVCD] Just a quick note to acknowledge your wonderful VCD player. I spent the better part of the day downloading trial versions of various players from ZDnet in attempt to play a disk full of (apparently PC) VCD’s that I bought on eBay, and none would do the job until I found and tested yours; needless to say, I found myself pulling out the Visa card five minutes later. Always nice to find a program that actually does what it’s designed to do; looking forward to trying out some of your other programs listed on your site. Also, a pleasant surprise to find that you’re actually Canadian-based.

You guys are so cool. We lost power to our house for 4 days due to the ice storm last week. I used my Titanium powerbook to play back the backlog of VCDs recorded with my Terapin VCD recorder. It was 35 degrees in the house, and we had no hot water, but we were able to entertain our neighbors and friends. Thanks for your quick response.

Thanks so much for this detailed and insightful email. You were absolutely right. Even though I have Administrator rights on the Windows 2012R2 server where the File System is located (as one of the logical partitions – F: drive), I had to start ShredIt with “Run as an Administrator”. When I did that, folders are being shredded no problem. I truly appreciate the quick response.

Hi, I bought iVCD for Mac OS X tonight. Two words. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. O.K. six. I cannot tell you how long nor how many programs ago my quest began. I really did not have much hope, but I figured I might as well give you a “demo” try. Wow! I was floored! No problems, it was so easy and quite self-explanatory. I have tried so many that ask for so many things that I do not understand, although I have come to be quite well-versed on the temperamental Mac and its preferences. I wish I could explain what it means to be able to have my niece and nephew on a DVD in a slideshow that we did last weekend in “Photo Booth” with special effects on Mac. …Thanks for my sister’s special gift.
